Write it down.
Making your own work schedule can be done as easy as pie. Grab your notebook and pen. Write the dates. Write the necessary information about your assigned tasks and their deadlines.

Make some rules.
For example, if you’re working limit yourself from browsing the Internet and your social media accounts. Make sure that you focus more on how you can finish your job with better results at the right time.

Turn off the TV.
Work in a place where you can focus more about your assigned tasks. Turn of the TV while you’re working especially if you’re not used to noisy working environment.

Don’t set too many work appointments.
We know that sometimes you can be overwhelmed with so many jobs coming from your boss and different employers. Make sure that you set priorities. List down which tasks are urgent and which tasks can be done tomorrow or the next day.

Set you working hours.
This can be difficult for you if you work with for a flexible contract. Wake up the morning with regular schedule and try to work for certain hours. It will help you finish your tasks before the deadlines and you can still have some time to check it.

De clutter your workstation.
Sometimes, working with a messy desk can give you distraction. De-clutter and put only the things that you need on your desk. Keep it clean and simple. Learn to organize your things. Set a day for cleaning your room and work space.

Create some rewarding stuff if you’ve followed your work schedule properly.
You have to reward yourself every time you accomplish your tasks in your work schedule. It lessens your stress (if you have) and you’ll find yourself feeling happy about accomplishing your tasks at the right time. Set time to watch your favorite TV show or go out to have some delicious dinner with your friends.

Working at home can be quiet difficult to do for the first time but once you’ve figured out on how to create your own work schedule, you’ll find it rewarding and more convenient compared to working in an office with your boss and co-workers. Enjoy your freedom from commuting to and from your working place. You can choose to work wherever you want but you have to be responsible about it.
